Were the Cuban ones live collected? And are the valves plain cream or tan or brownish in color, as it typical for the species, or do they have zigzag or speckled markings on a cream background?
Have you seen Florida material? And if so, do the valves you have closely resemble the Florida shells in their overall proportions?
The specimens were collected in the debris at 2-3 m from Guglielmo Biraghi in 1977. They are cream-colored with rare bands zic-zac. I can not tell if they were alive or not.
