I am doing my thesis on the potential of phage therapy to either completely replace antibiotics or complement them. Going through all the literature available through journals and scientific papers, I cannot see any comparison/ studies comparing antibiotics and phages to treat the same infection, and I need to find some valid and meaningful data. At the moment, when a phage clears an infection, there is always a chance that the infection could have come to an end on its own, and the experience is anecdotal rather than scientifically tested and replicable. Any help would be welcome and extremely valuable. Thank you for taking an interest.
