Hi all, I found some literature suggesting you can reliably use tufts of hair to genotype mice. Anyone out there actually doing this? Do you use Chelex from Sigma, just boil, or some other process? Is there a kit for the DNA purification that works well?
I've learned that paying for kits makes genotyping more reliable, but open to any reliable method. Thanks!! Robin
