Does anyone know Endothelial antibodies (like CD31, Von Willebrand, VEGFR or VE-Cadherin) that work well in pigs?
Thank you very much in adavance for your help
Iker
Hi Iker,
Linscott's directory has a list of Abs against pig CD31:
http://linscottsdirectory.com/search/antibodies/searchStr:cd31/searchMode:specificity/hostId:/reactiveId:Pig,porcine,swine/applicationId:/formatId:/antibodyTypeId:/isoTypeId:/pageSize:100
vWf:
http://linscottsdirectory.com/search/antibodies/searchStr:von%20willebrand/searchMode:specificity/reactiveId:Pig,porcine,swine/pageSize:100
VEGFR:
http://linscottsdirectory.com/search/antibodies/searchStr:VEGFR/searchMode:specificity/reactiveId:Pig,porcine,swine/pageSize:50
and VE-cadherin:
http://linscottsdirectory.com/search/antibodies/searchStr:VE%20cadherin/searchMode:specificity/hostId:/reactiveId:Pig,porcine,swine/applicationId:/formatId:/antibodyTypeId:/isoTypeId:/pageSize:25
Check whether these Abs have been used in publications
Thank you very much for you answer. The information is really useful for me. Really appreciate it.
All the best,
If you have antibodies for ECs of other species, first try them on a positive control porcine sample, as they often cross-react.
