I need to find a good anti-activated caspase-3 to use on brain sections, but it cannot be raised in rabbit so I can contain with another antibody (which is rabbit...). Thank you :)

Your other option would be to try an antibody that hasn't been rated by its supplier as working in IF, and hope for the best (usually it hasn't been tested, rather than shown not to work), Biolegend has a mouse monoclonal that appears to works in WB: http://www.biolegend.com/purified-anti-caspase-3-antibody-1993.html, Since I presume you are working on frozen tissues (ie. less demanding than FFPE), you might have a chance.
