I am looking for a single-use container which a sample could be put into prior to placement in an oven, autoclave etc. The vessel would need to retain pressure build up inside (i.e. when treating a liquid sample) and also protect the sample from any contamination from the external environment. Ideally the container would be made of plastic.
Ideally what you need is a 'chemical digestion vessel', which is basically a stainless steel pot with a screw lid to take the pressure, and a close-fitting PTFE pot and lip-sealing lid as a liner. Screwing down the stainless steel lid seals the PTFE lid onto the pot. The thermal expansion of the PTFE on heating ensures a good seal is maintained. Such vessels can typically go to 200 °C with water inside.

We bought some some years back, but I don't know who from, nor whether one can still buy them. Strictly they should be pressure certified.
