Dear Mr Neuman, I don't know if the teflon membrane (to Clark sensor) is different than the teflon tape (commercial). It is possible, because there are many derivatives of polymers based on Polytetrafluoroethylene. Teflon is just a Trademark. However, I can tell you that a commercial teflon (tape) will work very well in Clark sensor, but you must stretch the tape up to stay transparent. Teflon is just permeable to gases, carbon gas, ammonia, oxygen (Clark sensor). The original teflon is very thick. See the paper: Analytica Chimica Acta, 193 (1987) 19-27 . I hope this helps you.
