It's hard to determine what qualifications or standards are required to become one of their experts. They poll their "experts" and it presumes the majority is the correct view. However, Science is not a majority rule system. I would be cautious when applying their survey data and interpretation to tougher issues.
You gave me an insightful and useful view on this matter. When I am approached by such organisations, I tend to be very cautious and skeptical. The normal approach is - as always - gooling the problem. However this time it was not enough. and I was looking for an alternative perspective on the matter.
It is quite interesting that Reddit moderators blocked the exact same question. Makes one wonder about reddit take on free speech, and open inquiry ...
Thank you @Pedro, exactly the same (type of) initial email and my response/reaction to it brought me here. How curious that reddit mods blocked the thread! I will keep an eye on this discussion with interest ;)
SciPinion is a network of experts, see https://scipinion.com/about/. I am generally sceptical when receiving such invitations and ignore them.

Thanks Wolfgang R. Dick for the blog link. The blog has a copy of an email received from SciPinion. The blogger assumes SciPinion is in MT. While the address of the LLC in the email is a post office box in Bozeman MT, that does not necessarily mean the company is located there.
According to https://scipinion.com/contact/, their address is SciPinion Headquarters, 615 Nikles Drive, Unit 102, Bozeman, MT. However, I am not sure if this is a real address or just a mailbox.
The address corresponds to a condominium, perhaps the home of the registered officer for the company. Or SciPinion may operate from a home office. https://www.google.com/maps/place/SciPinion/@45.6990026,-111.0452142,19z /data=!4m13!1m7!3m6!1s0x5345443c8739ba1f:0x7454b0c28116b324!2s615+Nikles+Dr,+Bozeman,+MT+59715!3b1!8m2!3d45.6990026!4d-111.044667!3m4!1s0x5345443c6d2df6c9:0xa16ea4a087c0f691!8m2!3d45.6988383!4d-111.0446523
I found this thread because I have the same question. Also, I found published article mentioning SciPinion here. Maybe it could address some of our concerns

I am Sean Hays, President of SciPinion - I can assure you we are absolutely legitimate. We have an active community of tens of thousands of the world's experts, spanning hundreds of niche scientific subject matter areas and we work with governments, industry and academia alike to shed light on some of the most complex and controversial science questions our society faces today while maintaining psychological safety for our experts and prioritizing merit at all times.
I am a scientist and have worked as a consultant since 1995 in the environmental health risk field. My cofounder, Chris Kirman, and I started SciPinion because we got tired of how science wasn’t getting the fair attention it deserves. In particular we became appalled by how experts were being attacked when they shared their opinions in public discourse. In fact, I too was attacked by an advocacy group when I served on an EPA science advisory panel. It made me never want to speak up or serve on an important government panel ever again.
We realized this was wrong and needed to be fixed. Furthermore, we wanted more experts to share their opinions, not less. As a result, we created SciPinion to engage the broader scientific community, to give experts safety for speaking their opinions, to be a voice for the scientific community and ultimately to help decisions makers (governments, companies, the broader public) make better decisions. We’ve already won the endorsement of the US government (https://www.epa.gov/system/files/documents/2022-07/_epaoig_20220720-22-E-0053.pdf) and we hope to achieve this with all governments around the world.
If you receive an invitation to join SciPinion, I hope you will consider joining. We never ask for any money, we don’t sell user data and we have paid our experts millions of dollars to date.
Mohamed El Zowalaty Yes a) I have dealt with them; b) they are credible; c) they pay you well for your time and expertise if you are selected for a paid panel. I have no hesitation at all in recommending this organization.
I am in fact learning about Sci pinion. I got an invitation to "claim your account". I am not sure but Mr Sean's statement looks reassuring. I will revert back.
