Actually I am trying to import a polygon and a point layer created in Arcgis to SAS to perform further analysis. I can import the data but it cannot show both of them at the same time in the output, I mean the points and the polygon. I could not classify the polygons either.

Fortunately, thanks to your recommendation I did make SAS read and show the map data and response data set. There were three fileds in my origional response data, i.e X, Y and YIELD. I added a field called gridcode to the point shape file in Arcgis, next I added a field called gridcode in the map dataset. (the gridcode was supposed to be used as an ID). Then using PROC GMAP and ANNO it showed the map and the points but with a lttle distortion. The question is I don't know what I should use in front of ID. I want to have SAS show the map (the boundary) and the points (yields) classified (star marks of different colours)

Any idea what I should do to overcome this problem?
I found out that the distorsion happened because the map consisted of several polygons. I should make SAS understand when to pick up the pen when drawing map.
Do you by any chance know what I am supposed to do?
