Hi thank you Noor. But i think the SNP in article refers to introm region. I have already read that article. I need to find SNP of Human FTO in exon region. Do you any idea about this? Thank you 

Best way to look for any significant variants is to pull the FTO gene from ClinVar/NCBI. It will list all the submitted SNPs for this gene.

The FTO SNP that  was found to be associated to obesity (by GWAS) is an intronic SNPs. You may find other SNPs in the FTO exonic regions, but as far as I know, they are not associated to obesity. 

The intronic SNP in question was very well characterized in the paper of Claussnitzer et al. 2015 (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/26287746), where they found that the SNP is actually not affecting the FTO gene expression, but instead, the expression of two neighbour genes. 

Citing the paper: "The rs1421085 T-to-C single-nucleotide variant disrupts a conserved motif for the ARID5B repressor, which leads to derepression of a potent preadipocyte enhancer and a doubling of IRX3 and IRX5 expression during early adipocyte differentiation"

My guess is that exonic SNPs present in FTO will not be associated to obesity, because the link between FTO and obesity was likely wrong. This happened because we associate SNPs to the closest gene, which in this case, was a wrong choice.

FTO was one of the genes studied in the following paper, we selected the tag SNPs from all over the FTO gene and obtained some significant SNPs related with obesity in children.

Thank you for all the answer. I think it is hard to find any SNPs in exon region of human FTO. I read an article mentioned that the SNPs in exon is very rare even if there is some effect in changing amino acid but still it's rare to associate with obesity. Thank you
