The commonly used value for the resistivity of human cochlear perilymph is about 70-Ohm.cm.(cf, Finley, Briaire, Suesserman, etc)

Where does this value come from?

The oldest reference I could find is a study by Misrahy et al. 1958, but this concerns guinea pig and not human cochlea...
