Dear researchers,
I'm working on vibration control in buildings, actually I'm using Simulink (matlab) to model the MR damper behaviour and it application in buildings but I want to know if there is other software to do that (those software must have a control algorithm toolbox) so I can apply my fuzzy logic controler on the damper.

You can give the parametric values of Wen model as required by the typical load-displacement plot of MR damper.

What about controlling the voltage induced to the damper ? how can we do that ? and if we want to use a control algorithme is that possible ?
You can write your programs in Matlab (or use Simulink) to model the MR damper. Matlab Fuzzy logic toolbox can be used if you want to use fuzzy control.

You can use both Matlab and Sap 2000 software simultaneously linked to each other. For this purpose, use API of Sap 2000 which is the best reference. You can find it by software install direction, csi API help file.
