I'm asking this general question for teachers and professors in all fields. With the advances of technologies and communication technics the exclusivity of the scientific information detained previously only by the teachers is lost. Hence, students or even normal people can access to this information using internet for example.
- How dose this affects the motivation of the teaches and professors, when you know that the information you are giving in your class may be already known by the students ?
- Does it makes you lose the motivation to teach ?
- Does it motivates you the give more, to dig more, to reach certain information that are not available on the internet ?

As a professor, your position of power now is that you know what is important for a professional, and how industry works. You add value by pointing out what is false, what is questionable and what is true (at least for now!). You feel empowered now that you do not have to rely on the one (rather inadequate) textbook, but can point to the wealth of true sites, which show the topic from different vantage points. At exam time you celebrate this by finding that the students have indeed assimilated the information and methods that you considered important for a professional in the industry. Your notes now just have to fill in the gaps that cannot be found by using Google Scholar.

The resources available today on the Internet can not replace a teacher. Given the vast amount of information available online, the teacher has a critical role to play as a mediator. The teacher finds himself in a position to put order, but also to instill meaning and coherence. Students could not become self-taught thanks to access to non-filtered knowledge on the network. The teacher remains the only one with the right pedagogical means and a relational approach essential for the transmission of knowledge to students. The teacher in the era of networks and digital is part of a horizontal dynamic where the transmission is no longer vertical but lateral. Its functions evolve accordingly towards a "community manager", a real mediator of knowledge.

Hi my brother Mahdi, That is a good question, in my opinion, I think that our students need new strategies about studying in all levels and before give them informations in any field. Moreover, teachers and professors must give them necessary orientations, recommendations, talking about their goals in lifes and giving them more loves before starting the studies. Hence, if they achieve these points, I guess that they will see wonderful and hopeful students regarding their futur in positive side "specially in our country".

The age as well as the knowledge gap, between a long-experienced instructor & the students, will almost guarantee that the students will not acquire an information in-depth as the teacher has got hold of through the years.
Modern communication tools may give compacted information which may also be erroneous. An amateur student may be misled by the internet & some times by notes or books.
Assuming that the students got it all alright, then the teacher has to feel positive because this will reduce the effort to convey knowledge from teacher to students. In real life, teachers often find out that what the students obtained ,by themselves, have been shallow information .
Teacher have never had exclusivity in their work. Books are nothing but what we have today on youtube on paper. Teaching is not sayng something, it is about supporting learning.
As teachers recommend other books, he shall also recommend other online classes.
