I am looking for someone willing to send me a little of this
vector (pBI221) used for plant transient expression (35S::GUS). It's been discontinued by Clontech and is no longer for sale nor available from other databases such as AddGene.
If any of you could provide an aliquot of this plasmid, it will be greatly appreciated (I will pay for the shipment, of course).

If you just aim for 35S::GUS for plant genetic transformation, you can opt for a more popular one such as pCambia series of vectors (mentioned by Stefano), many of them come with 35S::GUS. See their website at: http://www.cambia.org/daisy/cambia/585
It is an open source for everybody to use.
Thank you very much for the suggestions, but pBI221 is not a binary vector. It is derived from the binary vector pBI121, taking 35S:GUS into pUC19. It is used only for transient expression studies such as those involving protoplasts, since the small size makes this process more efficient. Binary vectors such as PBI121 or any pCAMBIA equivalent would be too big for this purpose.
