There are some who wrote on narrative analysis which examines lexical, syntactic and discourse features,as D.Tannen (1982).

M.J Toolan (2013) tackles a critical linguistic introduction in this subject. He concentrated on the literary linguistic approach as powerful advocate for literary linguistics.
