Dear Colleagues,

Several colorimetric methods were used to quantify the principal components (carbohydrates, proteins, lipids) without any indications on their limits of detection. I want to have information supported by references on the limits of dectection of the following methods:

-Proteins according to Bradford (1976),

-Lipids following Goldsworthy et al. (1972),

-Carbohydrates (Duchateau and Florkin, 1959).
