The past few months I have started testing the selective androgen receptor modulator (SARM) GSK2881078 to study its ability to increase muscle growth and/or counteract muscle atrophy. I have done these experiments in C2C12 cells but have not been able to observe or measure any effects so far. We have verified its potency using an AR-CALUX reporter cell line, so that does not seem to be the issue.
I was wondering whether anyone here has used GSK2881078 in muscle cells as well, or know anyone who has? In that case, I would be very interested to get in contact and learn more about your/their experiences, for example which cell types and doses you/they have used and found to be effective, and on which anabolic/anti-catabolic signaling pathways you could find an effect.
