Does anyone have experience on measuring hepatic de novo lipogenesis in vitro?

I'm currently looking for protocol to measure lipogenesis in cell line HepG2. Usually this was base on the stable isotope 14-C labeled acetic acid or glucose, but the steps were not clearly mentioned in research article, I need a feasible protocol to perform or adjust.
