I want to inject some bites whose diameter is 4 microns into the heart of 5dpf zebrafish to see if the bites can circulate in the vessels. However, I have tried a few times, but the bites mainly stay in the heart and cannot flow into the vessels.
Can anyone tell me if the problem is my microinjection skills or are the bites too big to circulate in the zebrafish vessels?

Dear hu, thank you very much for your kindly answer. In fact, I have successfully inject 1 micron bites into the ventricle of zebrafish and they can circulate well in the vessels. However, I can not see the 4microns bites flow into the vessel. It seem the problem is my skills of microinjection. Can you help me to kindly give me some protocols of the microinjection into the ventricle?

I have put the paper in which the detailed injection protocol is shown but mainly in adults. Please search the zebrafish figure at stages you desired to certain the ventricle of heart and inject. You should get some nice feeling after you practice and do inject into ventricle. Good luck.
