Relaxation can be induced by diaphragmatic breathing at a rate of five seconds for breathing in and five seconds breathing out. This can be helped through reciting the rosary (see BMJ) on topic. Closing your eyes at the same time and visualizing a pleasant scene where you felt relaxed. In other words a guided imagery type of meditation while thiking the word relax on each exhalation.
