I would be especially interested in data on born globals that have exited and re-entered one or more foreign markets... Maybe we can write something together.
I have case studies of two born globals developing country firms (Pakistani construction firms operating in Middle East). I have specifically focused on motives, future goals, firms-specific competitive assets, home country-specific competitive assets and locational factors considered before venturing. If it relevant to your research, kindly let me know. We can work together. Thank you.
If these firms have been active only in the Middle East (not in Europe, America...), some authors would prefer to call them born internationals (as according to some definitions, a born global should be active on 2 continents outside its home continent)... but I am interested in bonr internationals, too. So, if you have data on these 2 firms' activities in every year in every country (turnover etc) and if their activities have fluctuated a lot (e.g. no or very much reduced activities in some countries in some years), we could think about co-operation. If you are interested, send me an e-mail to [email protected]
I have a paper on Born Global Acquirers - firms that made multiple acqusitions as their entry mode, from the Indian IT sector. I have explored different facets of their emergence including the role of the entrepreneur as a driver. I could send you the links if you are interested.
I had a look: it seems that we have some interests in common (born globals and case studies) and we also cite quite similar sources. Maybe you can send me an e-mail (to [email protected]) and we could discuss co-operation: e.g. what kind of data you have (e.g. if you wish to study these firms further or study some others), what you would be interested in contributing and what you would expect from me etc.
