Hi everyone, I am wondering is anyone had a good design or some suggestions on how I can organise the tubing of a small 5l stirred bioreactor. Currently I have 15 size 16mm tubing coming out of the head plate. 5 of these are connected to base and feeds. The main issue is trying to keep the tubes tidy and separated and as short as possible. I have limited space left and right of the reactor. Hello you can use vacutainer tube which have negative pressure inside.

it really helped me to sort the tubes in "lines" according to their function, i.e. bundle all feed, waste and gas lines with relatively loose zip ties. Then you might want to use color coded labeled stickers around the tubes to identify them at first sight when working on your reactor (feed green, ...).
You mentioned limited space, but it might also help to place all feed bottles on one side and waste ect. on the other side of the vessel.
With this system you might need tubes a little longer, but everything should be clear and accessible when the shit hits the fan and you need to react.
