Or any of the ibright makes for that matter...We have an ibright in the lab and it works great for nucleic acid gels and staining of protein gels but I'm noticing issues with western blots. Regardless of staining with any thermo brand ECL we cannot detect endogenous expression of most genes. Housekeeping loading control antibodies do show up, but almost appear less illumenscient based on my past experience. I am starting to think this is a fault of ibright sensitivity and am just curious what other people's experiences have been before I look into alternatives.
In the past I have only used audio radiography film for HRP chemi antibodies, which worked spectacularly.
