I haven't found anything besides this almost 50 year old publication: Renwick, A.G.C. and Engel, L.L. The partial purification of 17α- and 17β-estradiol dehydrogenase activities from chicken liver. Biochim. Biophys. Acta 146 (1967) 336–348. I would apprecitate any, even unpublished or indirect information about this enzyme. (EC 1.1.1.148)

Adam B Shapiro Thank you for your help! I already found its BRENDA site, that is why I gave the number of the enzyme for easier identification. More specifically I am interested in its abundance in human (or human cell lines). Up to date there are only Eubacterium and animal origins of it on BRENDA. Could it be that it has not been characterized in human yet?
