Agree with Ali. At now no evidence of a possible efficacy in SPMS have been demonstrated. It's a amatter of fact that autologous BMT has a proven efficay in subjects with a strong activity of the disease. I'm completely sceptical that the same could happen in SP forms cause of its very different physiopathological background
