Hello,
I am working on fluid structure interaction analysis (FSI) of arteries. I am using two-way weakly coupled approach combining ANSYS and ansys CFX. The analysis should be as advanced in materials as possible so I have hyperelastic anisotropic highly non-linear model for arterial wall, respecting axial pre-stretch and using non-newtonian Careau Yasuda model for blood. Both fileds also have mapped hexa-meshes generated in ICEM CFD. Good news is the transient problem converges but that is only half of the solution. Now I need to validate the results against values measured independently. So far I now it has realistic values of wall stress, wall shear and velocity profiles. The last thing I want to analyze is the oscillatory shear index (OSI) Problem is that all my walls are moving and ANSYS CFX does not allow to store time avergaged variables for moving boundaries (confirmed by ANSYS support). Consequently I was adviced to write a fortran routine in CFX to calculate the OSI. And here is the problem since I am not skilled in fortran neither in CFX commands (my background is structural engineering). On the other hand I guess this is rather easy problem for somebody from the fluid-related fields who has experience in CFX. Would anyone be interested in tackling this problem with me?
