Hello,
I am quite isolated and library of my "home university" is closed. Have to find and get everything from online. Unfortunately most topic-related article collections are not free and my master thesis would cost me (if I buy all needed articles) about 3500€.
My answer is that no effect in making research. Many research need only paper and pencil. Internet can help a lot. The real bad effect is that many conferences are canceled and it is not clear that when will be possible to meet my colleagues.
