Do you mean art therapy in general or specific arts for therapy?
I'am not experienced in the field, but maybe this book will help as a general overview from a therapeutic view point:
Edwards, D. (2004). Art therapy. London: Sage Publications.
If you look for more specific interventions like bibliotherapy, I guess this article is a good starting point: Brewster, L. (2009). Books on prescription: Bibliotherapy in the United Kingdom. Journal of Hospital Librarianship, 9(4), 399-407.
Thank you very much Sandra!!! I am interested in any kind of art in therapy. I would appreciate especially dance therapy. Your book seems very interesting thanks!

There are many books on the subject. I am assuming you are looking for english titles. If you need german literature I can help out with more.
This is a good overview of the field in England
Karkou, V., & Sanderson, P. Arts Therapies. A Research-Based Map of the Field. Eidnburgh: Elsevier at Churchill Livingstone. (2006).
These are classics in dance therapy, therefore some older titles. There is more recent literature available, but this is what I had at hand:

Yes, in Germany you can eat your heart out. In Germany they are advanced in this subject. I always use the journal Der Merkurstab. For art therapy you could use as search term 'Künstlerischen Therapie' and then try to find a translated version? Great advice ms. Eberhard Kaechele gave! Good luck!
Cathy Malchiodi writes extensively on expressive therapies (i.e. art, drame, play therapies) - not quite the same as "art as therapy" but you mihgt find some of it useful

Malchiodi, C. A. (Ed.)., (2013) Expressive therapies’, Guilford Publications.

I wrote a book that describes therapies and healing techniques of psycho-mental and cognitive-intellectual disorders by manual tasks, of painting, of dance, neural gymnastics, with great effects on healing and balances as they activate the biophysical functions and psycho-physical, emotional and affective involvements. Experiences and longitudinal accompaniments were made for 6 years. Its effects were extremely positive as a whole, particularly on the biophysical level, psycho-sensory, emotional and cognitive.
Someone recommend you this book "The Secret World of Drawings; A Jungian Approach to Healing Through Art' by Gregg M. Furth."as art therapy, it is not correct is a material for therapeutic diagnosis with drawings.
I think you will find many interesting materials in this conference: 19 Herbstakademie Embodied Aesthetics: Resonance in perception, expression and therapy,
