I found different publications about methylated TCEP which state that tmTCEP has a lower pKa value (4.5) and therefore works faster at low pH values, but there was no information where the authors got tmTCEP from.
This is what I got from SciFinder, they are not using tmTCEP as the name, but the whole IUPAC name as the hydrochloride salt.

If your University allows it, I really recomend joining SciFinder, it's used more by chemists so it's not mentioned a lot in biological sciences, but it's an amazing tool for finding compounds. Good luck! :)
