Does anybody have experience with FITC stability?

Does anybody have experience with FITC (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fluorescein_isothiocyanate) stability? According to my experiences, It decays quite easily and loses 42 from its mass. Did someone-else observe the same? What should I do to increase it stability?
