Yes, I know the overall idea to circulate a liquid (water). But I was wondering what are your personal experiences. What setup do you use? Is it simple water flow or do you use for example recirculating coolers: http://www.julabo.com/us/products/recirculating-coolers?
If you go 800 ºC in the reactor, that the temperature of coolant is 25 ºC or 0 ºC does not matter (besides problems associated with condensation).
I used a recirculating cooler just because I had no access to a tap. Recirculating system usually has the advantage of triggering an alarm if flow stops, and keep very constant temperature.
However, a tap will also do just fine, just make sure that water flow never stops.
In any case, I insist in asking recommendations from your vendor (in contrast to them, we give you no guarantee).
