e-Choupal is an India-based business initiative by ITC Limited (an Indian conglomerate) that provides Internet access to rural farmers. The purpose is to inform and empower them and, as a result, to improve the quality of agricultural goods and the quality of life for farmers.

I have recently analyzed the use of Social Media tools in 45 cultural projects whose general objective was to stimulate the heritage consumption by presenting church and monastery complexes, monuments and architectural ensembles and art, historical and archaeological sites, the specific architecture of villages in the Romanian historical provinces, woodworking, costumes, art decoration, traditional religious and ethno-cultural events, fairs and ethnographic museum exhibitions outdoor or exhibition pavilions. 40 of these projects were implemented in rural area of Romania.

Thank you very much Eteri, in fact, the rural areas I think have huge problems with the technology. I haven´t found a sustainable way for it.
