A biological process that is common in different tissues involves same pathways or gene. for example the apoptotic process happens in many cell types. will it involve same genes and pathways in all the cell types.
to define my question more precisely. an muscle cells is induced for apoptosis and its gene expression signature is identified. now, can we define the apoptosis in neuronal cells with this muscle apoptosis gene expression profile. ?
