I am creating a model within Ansys Fluent of a pipe with a leak into it. The leak is modelled as an extruded section from the main pipe domain (see attached screenshot). I originally created a singular body/domain for both of these, however, I wanted to define the walls of the leak as a different zone to the walls of the pipe. The only way I could think to do this would be to split the geometry into 2 bodies (leak and pipe), allowing the leak wall to have different boundary conditions applied to it.

This is because I want to allow Macroscopic Particle Model (MPM) particles to deposit along the edge of the 'leak' section, but not along the walls of the rest of the domain. This is to simulate the entrainment of a particle into a leak, due to it materially deforming into said leak as a result of the pressure within the pipe behind it.

The problem is that the help guide for MPM notes that MPM is not compatible with 'mesh interfaces'. However, I cannot tell whether assigning a 'mesh interface' is necessary when you have two different geometrical bodies or not. Is this the case? If so, can MPM only be used for single body geometries?
