I got a delivery of electrocompetent and chemically competent cells from NEB (both derivatives from DH10 beta cell). The package says they have to be stored at -80 degrees, but the person who received the package stored them in -20 freezer instead and I didn't realise about it for 2 days. Is the transformation efficiency of the cells going to be deteriorated in any way? I want to use them with a very sensitive sample. I don't have that much DNA for my assembly (which I'm going to transform into these cells), so I don't have that much sample to test the competency of the cells.

Thank you very much in advance for your help.
