Constructive ideas sometimes face cold receptions from insiders who have developped conceptual rigitidy and sometimes identify a theory with the thematic domain of a field, unable to see the theory as just a conceptualisation compatible and within it.

Einstein received a lot of "inertia" for his ideas like energy-mass equivalence, although he stayed comfortably within the paradigm.
