Do you think the C Terminal P2A peptide (GSGATNFSLLKQAGDVEENPG) would affect Rab27a function?

I have made a plasmid that translates Rab27a-P2A in mammalian cells. Rab27a's C Terminus (CXC) has a critical motif for post translation geranylation. This modification allows for vesicle insertion and proper trafficking of cellular cargo. I am concerned that this peptide tail will interfere with Rab27a's function and I'm kind of spooked now. Any thoughts or experience with any peptide extensions on Rab27a?
