In Belarus we haven't any peer-reviewed journal in english (in biomedical sciences). Only russian. Our research grant programs do not concider any publication fees in international journals. And it is very difficult to present the research to colleagues in all the world. That's why researchgate "questions/answers" and "projects" are very helpful for me. It is possible not only present my studies but find colleagues for discussion.

Yes, Researchers are getting benefited from RG platform through easy access to full length published articles, participation in discussions, answers to their research related quarries, establishing cross border network and research collaboration, etc.

As a researcher, I require to know the importance of my research. This is what RG professionally provides me with as: "Reads", "Research interest", "RG score" "feedback" and "citations". I think RG is a platform to evaluate and accredit researchers and their research. Although some other platforms as Academia.edu also exist, but it seems RG has more subscribers and has attracted more researchers to its professional research service.

Through easy communication you can put questions forward, get respons back from different people very quickly if your question is interesting enough for them.
