Every month, reputed publishers (for example Lancet) are opening new open-access journals. It is obvious that new journals are non-indexed; however, have a great prospects. Do you think publishing in these journals is a good idea?

I personally aim to publish in established journals if possible - these are more likely to be recognised when seen in my CV when I apply for a job. The interviewer thinks “oh yes, I know that Journal!”
