Some journals (like those comes under Elsevier) have two types of policies. First is making your article subscribed (i.e. one have to pay fee for access), and second is paying the open access publishing fee (like USD 2500-3500) where anyone can freely download manuscript from journal website.

My question is: Do you think that paying the Open Access Publishing Fee enhances the chance of manuscript acceptance rather than making it subscribed (not open access)?
