I do not use h-index in my CV but I used it in my personal narrative for my promotion dossier. However I did not use RG h index. Instead I used Google Scholar h index because that is higher and more accurate.

In case you need help designing a nice looking CV I can recommend using the CV builder on www.academondo.com. Here you simply just enter information and the website then helps you design a nice looking CV that you can print. This design does not contain H-Index in the builder, but could be included in the last paragraph. Hope that helps!
I do not see it necessary. Now, if they request it, yes, but if they do not request it, it is not necessary.
I think it's better to write down your profile link in google scholar.
It is important to point out that the only "valid" H index is the one that generally generates google scholar. It is also necessary to establish that many of the citations that appear associated with the articles in our profile are not only of citations in journals, but also of theses, educational programs and other documents that do not have the rigor of a journal.
Finally, your curriculum will have weight for your training, research and teaching and, of course, your academic production, not for the H index.
