Do you know any reason (with reference) why nanocrystals (7-15 nm) of PbSe deposited on TiO2 could show indirect optical transitions? Thank you all.

Actually, Shimadzu uv-3600 was used. Operation region from 210 nm to 3200 nm.
Don't you think about light scattering and wide particles size distribution influence on linearization result?
