Interesting discussion, actually I think that it depends on spp. of organisms, some bacteria thrive in dry season while others thrive in the wet season. Actually I wish to share with us your observations about that and I will so grateful to you as these observations add experience to us. Thanks a lot for this interesting discussion.

High number of bacteria during wet season ,which may be due to low level of temperature and presence of high levels of organic materials and nutrients which affected the survival of aquatic microflora
On the other hand, low number of bacteria during dry season
may be due to that the bacteria in the water are exposed to sunlight, which reduces their numbers and that the rise in temperature of the water reduces the amount of DO, which leads to reduced rates of growth of aerobic bacteria.
