I have already tried to model entity types (agents, resources, environments) in the StarUML, but I do not know how to attach (add, link) the behaviour elements (Behavior fragment, Perceptors, Effectors, ...) to the agent type directly. I am able to create these elements, but that is all. I tried to find the documentation or examples about the usage of the StarUML+AML on the web, but I was not successful.
I do not have any experience with StarUML+AML but you can also have a look at The Prometheus Methodology (http://www.cs.rmit.edu.au/agents/SAC2/methodology.html).
Both, Ingenias and Prometheus are good choices for modeling agents.
Ingenias and Prometheus are one of tens of methodologies in Agent Oriented software systems, I have done very detailed survey journal ( see my citation) , most of those methodologies are hypothetical and theoretical and they don't support application view of Agent Orientation.
maybe it's a good idea if you support your point of view with tangible experience of how to build and program MAS using Ingeniase, looking for application example.
