Do we have any agency like OSHA in India?

I was going through online lab safety training provided by NIH and could learn that me and many around me are working in unsafe conditions. Some labs are completely closed without a fume hood or exhaust (can these even be called a lab?) and people are working with organic solvents like chloroform and methanol. Some are working with human blood with least concern about Blood Borne Pathogens. Is there any agency in India to ensure/enforce lab safety procedures.
