I am documenting disease incidence of leaf spot in different fields of eggplant. It was observed that DI% declines towards the end of cropping season. Plants are selected randomly. Do the symptoms once appeared initially get disappeared towards the end of the season?
What justification would be applicable for this decrease in DI% observed in same field?
Hope there may be a plant immune response/signal that helps in the reduction of DI%. This may happen, as the biotic stress may induce any metabolite that help plants to resist the disease.

@ Arya, yes because at older age the leaves become dry therefore due to lack of moisture the disease incidence dissapear/reduced considerably.

@ Arya, definitely, because we dont offer also any irrigation to plants at later stages of growth and with age the water present in the leaf reduced considerably so due to the lack of moisture less incidence of disease was noticed.
