Unfortunately that happens in some countries. You can see kickbaks when labs try to impose some new treatments or protocols. It does not happen with old protocols that have lost patent protection.
Having only 10 years of patent protection for investigational drugs that cost more than 1 billion to develop, leads big labs to try to maximize returns in the first years. A modification of the patent system is due, if we want to change this situation.

Yes. It happened. Mostly doctors tell the patient that he has the dealer outside the hospital and they sell the medicine for less price.
There are some chemo medicines, if we buy 9 chemos extra 4 will be free and dealers and doctors used to make profit from this. Actually chemotherapy is a failed method. No idea why doctors won't say the truth to the people . Cancer won't cure with chemo.
True. The corruption, unfortunately, is not out of the hospitals. It is found inside too. The pharma companies are eager to enter the clinics with their new drugs and the doctors are eager to have sponsorship from them to travel abroad for congresses. And the deal is arranged! The new drugs are prescribed widely, sometime even not necessary, and the doctors are on the plane (usually business class) and after that in a 5-star hotel in a nice place. I know a number of such cases and this is not an exclusion.
Yes, doctors are definitely profiting from chemo, especially in two cases. Firstly, if they have a cancer which needs chemo according to reference guidelines, secondly, if they are oncologists, because delivering chemos are their job and they are getting their salaries for it. Regarding companies of Big Pharma, so called kickbacks are strictly prohibited by implemented compliance regulations.
Sorry Ladislaus but besides the salary and in spite of regulations, kickbacks are there all the time...and mainly from big pharma.
