Hi everyone, Right now I'm designing a dc-dc converter and I have to select a high power Diode, but I found DO-9 package quite smaller than conventional diodes. Would you help me with this? I don't know the advantages of DO-9 package. Thanks

I'm designing a 100 kW DC-DC converter, with a maximum current of 600 A, and I decided to work with a super fast diode module, which is really big. And, I realized that D0-9 exists and its weight and volume is quite small. But your explanation is pretty good.
