If a new route is taken by foot, the first time someone walks the route it seems to take forever, the second time it seems shorter in terms of time, the third shorter still. This may not work if the new route is travelled by motor bike say or car, therefore human physical effort may be required. The velocity of the vehicle overcomes the velocity and effort in other example. What possible reasons might there be for this phenomenon?
