So, I have a circular disc made of stretchable material say rubber, which is fixed all along its perimeter. If I put a certain weighted object in the middle of the disc, there will be some displacement of the middle point on the disc in the downward direction. How do I calculate that displacement when all I know is the force applied and the properties of the material like Young's Modulus etc.?
